My name is Hani Bakhshaei and I am a PhD student at McGill University , Mechanical Engineering department. My project is about "Computational models of human laryngeal airflows". My project is mainly about :
- Creating precise geometry of vocal folds, larynges and cartilages from CTScan or MRI data
- Assessment of quasi-steady approximation for airflow within the glottis
- 3D numerical simulation of airflow in the larynx after different treatment methods of glottic cancer
