Hello,

My name is Biswajyoti Chatterjee. I'm from India. The name of my small town is Jhalda. It is in the state of West Bengal, about 200 miles west of Calcutta. Ever since I was very young I've been interested in Macro Photography. I got my interest in photography from my father who is an excellent photographer. All his life he has used a Leica M2. I started out with a Pentax ES II with a 50mm 1.2 lens. As I dived into different forms of photography I added a 28mm and a 400mm lens. With the 400mm lens I did some wildlife photography. But I was getting more and more interested in small objects and started with the basic idea of holding the lens very tight back to front to the camera body. But later I bought a bellow extension. With the 50mm lens attached to the bellow I started to get startling close ups of common objects. Now I use a Sony digital camera with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tesser lens with macro function. I am not very happy with my camera. I have to do a lot of work in the computer to make my photos presentable. I am going to buy a high MP D SLR as soon as my pocket permits.
