Using photos

I would like to use this photograph in the Wikipedia article on Gothic architecture [1] but am unable to do so because it its labelled. We don't do advertisements on Wikipedia. Also need to know that you are entitled to upload the pic, since it has someone else's name all over it. Amandajm (talk) 12:23, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

• The picture was published originally on Flickr under a free license, CC-BY-SA, and was imported to Wikimedia Commons. This is a common practice and totally covered bu the license. Note the author name is preserved, as well as the license. I agree the photographer signature in the picture is unfortunate, but also according with the license we can remove it, see more about this at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Removing_watermarks (Nicubunu (talk) 21:00, 31 October 2013 (UTC))
