My name is Rainer Doehle, I am quite active on the German Wikipedia where I started in May 2005; see my profile at http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benutzer:Proofreader. Most of my 32,000 edits (July 2013) are in the fields of history and geography or in VfD-discussions where I often tend to extend articles and bring them to a minimum standard in order to keep them from being deleted. From time to time I also do edits on other Wikipedias, mainly the English (some 700 edits by now), though mostly only for placing interwiki links. I won't upload that many images (maybe one or the other from my hometown Berlin) but rather will concentrate on text work.
