I work on many Wikimedia projects in a multitude of languages, primarily the English Wikipedia, while using the Wikimedia Commons as my main base. My main contributions to Wikimedia projects are photographs and geocoding, though I do a variety of other things, such as categorisation, translations, and copyediting.

My name is Ildar Sagdejev. I was born on September 29, 1983 in Moscow. I moved to Vilnius in the early 1990's, and then to Annandale, VA, USA in 1993. About a year later, I moved to Fairfax, VA, and in 1996 to Durham, NC. I attended 10 schools ending with NCSSM and graduated from UNC-CH in December, 2004, with majors in Mathematics and Physics.
