I do have several interests. If I upload under this name the pics are mainly related to art or to some family issues or taken while travelling.

I am the creator of three websites; the main project is the Egon von Vietinghoff Foundation in several languages (not completed yet); please look at "http://www.vietinghoff.org".

Almost all pictures I uploaded already and will upload in future are 100% copyright free, i.e. they are in the 'public domain', because:

• they are my own shots

• I like to share in free mutual exchange and I dislike restrictions in the non-commercial fields

• I believe in the Internet's philosophy which is based on "advanced", liberal, cooperative, generous and friendly communication to learn from each other

• I get so much benefit from other user's pics thus I would like to contribute my part

• I consider - IMHO - the pride of some users rather ridiculous to upload the twentieth mediocre photograph of a well-known ancient object or a popular travel destination resulting in a restricted licence. What would someone loose to offer his/her pic in the 'public domain' for the community's free use?. See "https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/"
