"Wyglaf" was the Handle I used when I was a SysOp on Electronic Bulletin Board Systems. I ran different BBS systems in the Late 1980s and Early 1990s. One BBS was called "The Herot" (from the "Beowulf"). Beowulf had a cousin named "Wiglaf", but I changed it to "Wyglaf" and have used that handle on the internet and other area's ever since.
