Introduction[edit]

Yoshi CANOPUS, also known as Yoshihiko MIKAMI (三上吉彦) in the virtual world, hails from Japan. He was educated in Japan, U.S. and China, in this order; worked in 1965-2001 for a computer company in Japan, U.S. and Taiwan; served in 2001-2015 in Dalian, China; and enjoyed living in Hawaii, U.S.A.

He is the author of five books, the last of which is an eBook (Amazon Kindle):

"Dalian in Spring / 大连之春 / 大連之春 / 大連の春"

published in July, 2017, consisting of four parts written in: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese. He now lives in Hawaii, U.S.A.

Since 2007, he has contributed to Wikipedia more than 2,000 articles and to Wikimedia more than 450 photos, mainly on those items that he has personally experienced or directly/indirectly been involved in. See also his Wikipedia user page.
