V. Ganapati Sthapati
V. Ganapati Sthapati (1927 - 2011) was a Tamil Indian architect and sculptor. He was the head of the "College of Architecture & Sculpture", and was particularly involved with a renewal of the Vastu Shastra tradition.[1]

Thiruvalluvar
[edit]Sculpture of the Tamil poet and saint Thiruvalluvar. It is located on a very small island in the southern tip of India, at Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India. The monumental statue measures 133’ tall (40.5 m).
Valluvar Kottam
[edit]The Valluvar Kottam was completed by V. Ganapati Sthapatiby in 1976. It is dedicated to the Tamil poet, philosopher and saint Thiruvalluvar. It is designed in the form of a Hindu Temple Procession Chariot, and the height of the structure is128 feet (39 m).
