They may do this more often around Indianapolis areas like I-64 or 65s. Thats automatic error, becuase they don't comply with state documentray. Minnesota topple to nuetral shields after 1996, however newer deskstops seems like state shields to me. I don't know what style or ornamnets they use. Ex. of Business loops with blue bg found in South Carolina is automatic error, because MUTCD told them to use green background top and bottom. maryland specifies nuetral shields after 1999 but recent years they post at least 6 more state shields esp. {{comment}} It is tough to find a sign drawing website of what shield in state doc. But to be honest, I look at the shield types we use in routbox and 25x20px icons. Even Interstate-Guide.com say Ind. is found state shield tough to find. That means the sate shield is too long ago. Arkansas and West Virginia is odd. Because they are mainly state shields but the state docs have nuetral shields in drawing. I think they barely have any nuetral shields found. If they still post out any nuetral shields in Indiana-such as the I-465 and I-74 last summer they are known as automatic error. Missouri and Oklahoma's (iowa, and New Mexico) state shield is valid because they specifies state shileds in documnet. :Actually nobody cares how the interstate signs look like. Even if they do, people will still have tough time identifiny whether is currently state or nuetral shields. In Vermont, I beleive the state shield stop processing in the mid-1980s, however the shield post out six month ago is still state shield on [[w:Interstate 189|I-89]]. Also the SP (state porvincal) shields is likely to have error. In Vermont the SP shields must be square and white background with green text. However on [[w:I-289|VT 289]] the shield is white oval with black text. That's definitely an error. Arkansas and West Virginia is still mainly state shileds, I beleive only few shields is nuetral. In Los Angeles, California (The 5 and the 10) there is not much new shields most of them is at least 5 to 6 years old. The Caltrans last rv of state shield is July 2007, often only use on detour in Orange County, by El Toro Road, close to where I live. And shields takes like 6 weeks at least if not so vital. Some shields is upload instantly like missing purple county rout, or other yellow state provinical shields because is missing, and strongly needs to display. utah fancy display neutral shields is not that neccessairly. Actually those non-Wiki is historical interest like black and brown guide signs in California, and white California shields.
