English: The was a shipping line founded in Aberdeen in 1825. White Star Line and Shaw, Savill and Albion took it over in 1905. In 1931 White Star's parenc company failed and in 1933 Aberdeen Line took over the Australian Commonwealth Line, becoming the Aberdeen and Commonwealth Line. In 1936 Furness, Withy took over Aberdeen & Commonwealth and in 1957 Aberdeen and Commonwealth was dissolved.
