English: Amanda Randolph Amanda Randolph was an actress, vocalist, musician and composer from the United States. Randolph's public career began as a jazz pianist. She was also a fine vocalist and toured both the United States and Europe as an entertainer. While she was a recording artist and had appeared in many musicals and films, Randolph broke into radio with the help from some friends in the industry who were patrons at the family's New York restaurant. She was a pioneer in early television, with her own talk show on the DuMont Network, and is probably best remembered as Ramona Smith, Kingfish's mother-in-law, from the television version of Amos 'n' Andy, and as the Williams family housekeeper, Louise, in Make Room for Daddy.
