English: Barugh Green is a village in the metropolitan borough of Barnsley in South Yorkshire, England. it is home to famous individuals such as Tony Thornton and Andrew Mckie who ran the successful Barugh Boys Football team. The team produced a number of fine youngsters Including Bob Bacon and David Bower who later went on to sign for the Middlestown Miners who reached the FA Cup 2nd qualifying round in 2001 only to be beaten 12-11 on penalties to Savile Town FC.
