Deutsch: Der Bia-Nationalpark (Bia-Tawaya Nationalpark) ist im Juaboso District der Western Region von Ghana gelegen. Der Park wurde im Jahre 1935 als Schutzgebiet (Protected Area} eingerichtet und erhielt im Jahre 1974 den offiziellen Status als Nationalpark (305,62 km²). Im Jahre 1983 wurde die Nationalparkfläche aufgeteilt in den eigentlichen Bia-Nationalpark (77,7 km², auch: Bia-Tawaya Nationalpark, mit späterer IUCN-Klassifikation II) und das Bia-Biosphärenschutzgebiet (277,92 km² mit offizieller Anerkennung der UNESCO).

English: The Bia National Park (Bia-Tawaya National Park) is located in the Juaboso District of the Western Region of Ghana. The park was established in 1935 as Protected Area and obtained the official status as National Park in 1974 with an area of 305.62 km². In 1983, the park was divided in the proper Bia National Park (77.7 km², also: Bia-Tawaya National Park, with later IUCN classification II) and the Bia Resource Reserve (277.92 km², with official UNESCO authentication as Biosphere Reserve).
