English: Bucknall is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 309. The village is about 7 miles west of Horncastle. It is claimed that Lady Godiva was born here, largely based on her brother Thorold, Sheriff of Lincolnshire, being known as "Thorold of Bucknall".
