English: The Embassy of Syria is located at 2215 Wyoming Avenue in Washington, D.C. It was built as a private residence for Representative Alvan T. Fuller in 1908 and designed by architect Appleton P. Clark Jr. President William Howard Taft lived there while serving on the Supreme Court. His wife, Helen Herron Taft, continued living there after his death in 1930. The building is a contributing property to the Sheridan-Kalorama Historic District.
