Four Chefs was a restaurant, located at 945 Union Boulevard in the Midway manor section of eastern Allentown. Originally, it was started by Nicola Iacocca, and financed by his son, Lee Iacocca, the restaurant opened as a drive-in facility in November, 1963 specializing in Philadelphia Cheese Steaks. It also sold other short order items, hot dogs, chicken, pizza and other items that varied over the years.

The restaurant was successful for several years, later expanding with a location at 28th and Walbert Avenue in northwestern Allentown in 1965. In 1966, additional locations were opened at the Lehigh Shopping Center, just across the Allentown city line in Bethlehem as well as on MacArthur Road by Schadt Avenue in Whitehall Township. The Four Chefs in the Lehigh Shopping Center had a bakery and a deli, as well as indoor restaurant seating.

In 1969, the drive-thru on MacArthur Road closed. Then in January 1971, the Four Chefs chain of restaurants was purchased by "Convenience Shops, Inc.", then in May 1972, the stores were rebranded as "Teddy's Steakwich", or "Teddy's-4Chefs" when purchased by a Delaware County. restaurant chain. The Walbert Avenue location was closed in 1972, being moved to 1920 Tilghman Street. Apparently at the end of 1973, the ownership of 4 Chefs again returned to local Allentown owners, being renamed 4 Chef's Famous Italian Foods, and closing the 19th and Tilghman Street location (which was actually at Teddy's location).

The end of the line came in 1975 with the closure of the Leigh Shopping Center location in January, and the closure of the original Union Boulevard location in July.
