English: Fuzhou dialect, is the prestige variety of the Eastern Min branch of Min Chinese spoken mainly in eastern Fujian Province. In Singapore and Malaysia, the language is known as Hokchiu, which is the Min Dong pronunciation of Fuzhou.
中文:福州話( 平話字:Hók-ciŭ-uâ)屬於漢語的閩語分支,是閩東次方言的代表,也是福州民系所使用的母语。此外,福州疍民也以福州话为母语。在漢語各大語系中佔有重要的地位。福州當地人把這門語言稱作平话(平話字:Bàng-uâ),意思是“日常生活中所使用的語言”。
閩南語 / Bân-lâm-gú:Hok-chiu-oē ( BUC: Hók-ciŭ-uâ) sī Bân-tang-oē ê tāi-piáu hong-giân, thong-hêng tī Tiong-kok Hok-kiàn-séng Hok-chiu-chhī (pau-koat Tâi-oân ê Má-chó·-tó) hām Lêng-tek-chhī ê se-lâm-pō·. / 福州話(BUC:Hók-ciŭ-uâ)是閩東話的代表方言,通行佇中國福建省福州市(包括臺灣的媽祖島)和寧德市的西南部。
閩東語 / Mìng-dĕ̤ng-ngṳ̄:Hók-ciŭ-uâ sṳ̆k-ṳ̆ Háng-ngṳ̄ gì Mìng-ngṳ̄ buŏng-ciĕ, sê Mìng-dĕ̤ng Ché̤ṳ-huŏng-ngiòng gì dâi-biēu, iâ sê Hók-ciŭ mìng-hiê gì mū-ngṳ̄. Hók-ciŭ Dáng-mìng mū-ngṳ̄ iâ sê Hók-ciŭ-uâ. Háng-ngṳ̄ gáuk duâi ngṳ̄-hiê diē-sié, Hók-ciŭ-uâ dê-ôi iā dáe̤ng-iéu. Hók-ciŭ buōng-dê-nè̤ng iâ sāi Bàng-uâ kó̤ giéu Hók-ciŭ-uâ, é-sé̤ṳ sê „bàng-siòng sĕng-uăk gì sì-hâiu gōng gì ngṳ̄-ngiòng“. / 福州話(平話字:Hók-ciŭ-uâ)屬於漢語倛閩語分支,是閩東次方言倛代表,也是福州民系倛母語。福州疍民母語也是福州話。漢語各大語系裏勢,福州話地位野重要。福州本地儂也使平話(平話字:Bàng-uâ)去叫福州話,意思是「平常生活倛時候講倛語言」。
