English: Gebelein (modern name Naga el-Gherira) (also Gebelên, Jabalên, ancient Egyptian Inerty, Greek Pathyris or Aphroditopolis) is a town in Egypt. It is located on the Nile, about 40 km south of Thebes, in Qena Governorate.

Català: Gebelein es una ciutat prop de la qual hi ha el lloc arqueològic de Naga el-Gherira. Es a 29 km al sud de Luxor, i a la riba occidental del riu. El seu nom vol dir "Les dues muntanyes" i deriva del quemòtic Inerty o Inr-ti (les dos roques). El lloc està format per un turó al nord amb un cementiri i un turó al sud amb un temple de Hathor prop del Nil, a una cova contenint un santuari i un mur exterior construït tardiament. La ciutat antiga va prendre el nom de Hathor i es va dir Pr-Hwt-Hr (Per Hathor, o "Casa d'Hathor"), que es va convertir en Pathyris amb els grecs i tot seguit Aphroditopolis (Afroditòpolis, ja que Hathor fou identificada amb Afrodita). Tot i aquest culte a Hathor també el culte a Sobek, el deu cocodril, era important.

Deutsch: Gebelein ist der moderne Name der ägyptischen Stadt Inerty (die beiden Felsen). Im Ort stand ein Heiligtum der Hathor. Demnach wurde der Ort auch manchmal als Haus der Hathor (pr-Hwt-Hrw, woraus sich das griechische Pathyris entwickelte, aber auch als Aphroditopolis bezeichnet) bezeichnet.
