Public entrance to former extensive Post Office sorting-offices, opened in 1911.
Together with the Post Office's former "London Chief Office" on King Edward Street (see Category:General Post Office, King Edward Street), to which they were connected, these formed the King Edward Building, now the London headquarters of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
