English: Heath, or heathland, is a dwarf-shrubland type of habitat and plant community of the Temperate grasslands, savannas, and shrublands w:Biome.

Heath is also used for a landform type and geographic region with heathlands.
It is found on mainly low quality acidic soils, characterised by open, low growing woody vegetation, often dominated by plants of the Ericaceae - in Northern and Middle Europe.
Heath is also the name of a village in the North East Derbyshire district of the English county of Derbyshire.
