This category is for the Belgian automobile brand from Nessonvaux/Liège existing from 1906 to 1949 which later assembled British Standard and Italian Alfa Romeo automobiles and German Adler motorcycles. For the unrelated German motorcycle brand from Bad Godesberg existing from 1924 to 1935 which also made some automobile prototypes:

Français : Impéria, l’une des marques les plus prestigieuses de l’histoire de l’automobile belge, est créée en 1904 par Adrien Piedbœuf. Celui-ci possède un atelier de construction de motos puis de voitures à Liège, rue de Fragnée, mais, dès 1907, il s’installe dans l’usine de Nessonvaux construite par Henri Pieper, fabricant d’armes à Liège qui avait lui aussi quitté Liège pour venir s'installer près de ses forges. Bordant la route Liège-Verviers, ce bâtiment industriel exemplaire de l’éclectisme architectural en vogue à l’époque évoque un petit château.
Nederlands: Imperia was een fabrikant van auto's uit België. Voortgekomen uit Pieper, werd het in 1904 opgericht door Adrien Piedboeuf, voormalig verkoper van Metallurgique. De fabriek was eerst gevestigd in de rue de Fragnée te Luik (sporen van de fabriek zijn thans nog te zien); in 1907 werd het atelier verplaatst naar Nessonvaux, Trooz.
