English: Maelstrom was a water ride attraction located in the Epcot theme park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the ride opened on July 5, 1988, in the Norway Pavilion of the park's World Showcase section. It was a mix between a log chute and a traditional film attraction. Visitors rode boats patterned after longships that passed through various scenes that featured audio-animatronic figures.

Français : Maelstrom est l'ancienne attraction du pavillon Norvège situé le long du World Showcase Lagoon dans le deuxième parc de Walt Disney World Resort, EPCOT. Le 12 septembre 2014, Disney annonce Frozen Ever After, une attraction basée sur La Reine des Neiges dans le pavillon de la Norvège à EPCOT devant remplacer Maelstrom. L'attraction ferme ses portes le 5 octobre 2014, laissant place à la construction de la future attraction sur le thème de La Reine des neiges.

Nederlands: Maelstrom was zowel een dark water ride en film in Amerikaanse attractiepark Epcot in het Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. De op 5 juli 1988 geopende attractie was gethematiseerd naar Noorwegen en is te vinden in het Noorse paviljoen in het park. Op 5 oktober 2014 sloot Maelstrom haar deuren om ruimte te maken voor een nieuwe attractie omtrent de film Frozen.
