Deutsch: Manorhamilton ( irisch: Cluainín oder länger Cluainín Uí Ruairc; d. h.: “O'Rourkes kleine Wiese”) ist eine Stadt im County Leitrim im Nordwesten der Republik Irland.
English: Manorhamilton, known before the Plantations of Ireland as Clooneen , is a small town in County Leitrim, Ireland. It is located on the N16 national primary road between Sligo (27km) and Enniskillen (41km) in the north of the county. Uí Ruairc (Anglicised as O'Rourke) was the local Gaelic chieftain based in nearby Dromahair whose land was seized by the English and then granted to Sir Frederick Hamilton for his services in the European wars of the 17th century. As a result of his actions Hamilton to this day is considered to have been a tyrannt by the local people.
