English: The Omotenashi Bushō-tai (Hospitality Warriors Corps) in Japan are groups of actors and models who dress up as famous historic warriors and warlords and work in the tourism sector to promote their local city or area. Conceived to commemorate 400 years since the foundation of the city of Nagoya, the project was part of the city’s measures to lift the local economy. It has spread beyond Nagoya with about 30 other cities having their own Hospitality Warrior groups. Female hospitality groups have also been founded.
日本語: おもてなし武将隊は、日本各地の観光PR部隊。
