English: Lenses sold under the Pentax brand. Asahi Optical originally used the Takumar brand for their lenses, introducing the Pentax brand for their cameras with the original Asahi Pentax in 1957. Since the introduction of the K-mount in 1976, the Pentax brand is being used for lenses as well.
