Many of these photographs from issues of the American Annual of Photography published throughout the 1910s are credited to "J. A. Anderson". By consulting the Photographers' Identities Catalog at the New York Public Library, I have reasonably inferred - based on the birthdates and/or activity periods of photographers named "Anderson" who have the initials "J. A." - that "J. A. Anderson" was, most likely, John Alvin Anderson.
