English: The aqueduct was built in Béziers by Urban Magues from 1854 to 1857, to avoid the crossing of the Orb, too risky, after the lock Notre Dame. The first two locks of Fontseranes have been closed and the reach neutralized, while a third connects the reach of Villeneuve-lès-Béziers to the New-Port allowing an access to the first basin of the scale of Fontseranes locks.

Español: El acueducto fue construido en Béziers por Urban Magues, de 1854 a 1857, para evitar cruzar el Orbe, demasiado arriesgado, después del bloqueo de Notre Dame. Las dos primeras esclusas se han cerrado y las cuencas de llegar neutralisadas. Construida en junto, una tercera le conecta a la cuenca de Villeneuve-lès-Béziers, en el Puerto-Nuevo, permitiendo de acceder a la primera cerraduras la escala de esclusas de Fontseranes.

Français : Le pont-canal a été construit à Béziers par Urbain Maguès de 1854 à 1857, pour éviter la traversée de l'Orb par le canal du Midi, traversée trop risquée, après l'écluse de Notre-Dame. Les deux premières écluses de Fontseranes on été fermées et le bief neutralisé. Il relie le bief de Villeneuve-lès-Béziers au port neuf construit en même temps qu'une troisième porte permettait d'accéder au premier bassin de l'échelle d'écluses de Fontseranes.
