English: The St. Bartholomäuskirche in Köln-Ehrenfeld was erected in 1959/1960 by architect Hans Schwippert. After the union of the parrishes of St. Rochus, St. Dreikönigen und St. Bartholomäus the church was rarely used and converted into a columbarium in 2014 by architects Kissler + Effgen.

Deutsch: Die St. Bartholomäuskirche in Köln-Ehrenfeld wurde 1959/1960 von Hans Schwippert entworfen und steht unter Denkmalschutz. Aus den drei Pfarreien St. Rochus, St. Dreikönigen und St. Bartholomäus gründete sich 2002 die katholische Kirchengemeinde Zu den Heiligen Rochus, Dreikönigen und Bartholomäus für die Stadtbezirke Bickendorf und Ossendorf. Aufgrund veränderter pastoraler Anforderungen wurde die St. Bartholomäuskirche nur noch selten für Gottesdienste genutzt. Daher entschied die Kirchengemeinde 2006, die Kirche durch die Architekten Kissler + Effgen zu einem Kolumbarium umgestalten zu lassen und hier ca. 2.000 Urnengräber anzubieten. St. Bartholomäuskirche wurde 2014 als Grabeskirche eröffnet.
