English: Tokyo Disneyland (東京ディズニーランド Tōkyō Dizunīrando?) is a 115-acre (47 ha) theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, near Tokyo.[1] Its main gate is directly adjacent to both Maihama Station and Tokyo Disneyland Station. It was the first Disney park to be built outside the United States, and it opened on 15 April 1983. The park was constructed by Walt Disney Imagineering in the same style as Disneyland in California and Magic Kingdom in Florida.[1] It is owned by The Oriental Land Company, which licenses the theme from The Walt Disney Company. Tokyo Disneyland and its companion park, Tokyo DisneySea, are the only Disney parks not wholly owned directly by the Walt Disney Company.

Deutsch: Das Tokyo Disney Resort ( jap. , Tōkyō Dizunī rizōto) ist ein Freizeitkomplex und Ferienresort in der japanischen Stadt Urayasu. Das Resort ist im Besitz von The Oriental Land Company, welche eigens eine Lizenz von der Walt Disney Company hält. Die Anlage wurde am 27. April 1983 als einzelner Themenpark (Tokyo Disneyland) eröffnet. Mittlerweile existieren zwei Themenparks, vier Hotels und zwei Einkaufskomplexe.
