From Road Test published 30 June 1925:
"There are six brakes—four, of the side-by-side type, in the back drums and one in each front wheel drum. An off-side lever works two back brakes and a pedal expands shoes in drums on all four wheels, the application being by cable to the front and by rod to the rear. There are individual means of adjustment and compensation is provided. The system is simple and simplicity is always an asset."
"The roads on the day of the test were dry. The four-wheel brakes worked powerfully and smoothly, but there was evidently a large lead on the rear ones as when these drums were hot, those at the front were much cooler. The hand brakes are useful."
