The Science History Institute (formerly the Chemical Heritage Foundation) is an institution for the history of science. The Institute contributes materials from their museum, archives and library to Wikipedia Commons, as part of the GLAM initiative. This category is proposed so that all materials from the Institute can be easily identified and categorized. As of February 1st, 2018, the Chemical Heritage Foundation changed its name to the Science History Institute.
This category is now used ONLY for images which were uploaded to Wikipedia from websites of the Chemical Heritage Foundation, before the name change, which were not official releases from the Chemical Heritage Foundation.
Use "Category:Images from the Science History Institute" for images released BY the Science History Institute, or "Category:Images of the Chemical Heritage Foundation" for images of the building as it was prior to February 1, 2018 when the name changed.
