Rename [ "Templo de la Luna" to "Temple of the Moon (Machu Picchu)" ][edit]

How about using "Peru" instead of "Machu Picchu". This would be consistent with en:Temple of the Moon (Peru). An other alternative would be "Huayna Picchu". -- User:Docu at 07:47, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This would work for the time being. There are however more temples of the sun and the moon in Peru, in which case adding Peru to the category name woudn't be sufficient to disambiguate --ErickAgain 11:15, 30 November 2009 (UTC).
Using country names for buildings isn't ideal either, maybe we should use your initial suggestion. -- User:Docu at 07:26, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Current preferences/tendency is to use a comma for (extensible) place disambiguation (where it is), parenthesis to tell what it is. Examples: "Temple of the Moon, Machu Picchu", "Temple of the Moon, location, Peru" and "Temple of the Moon (Inca temple)". - — Preceding unsigned comment added by Foroa (talk • contribs)
You forgot to add "my" to "current preferences". -- User:Docu at 08:26, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I somewhat doubt that "Inca temple" is a useful option. Shall we use "Huayna Picchu" or "Machu Picchu" -- User:Docu at 08:26, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say go for Temple of the Moon, Machu Picchu. Having said that, Category:Temple of the Sun (Machu Picchu) should be moved to Temple of the Sun, Machu Picchu also. --ErickAgain 09:06, 1 December 2009 (UTC).
There are even more. So moving just this one to the initially suggested version seems easier. -- User:Docu at 04:38, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
