For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Berlin, Charité, Operation ADN-ZB Link hsch-16.4.80-Berlin: Bei Operationen der plastischen Chirurgie an der Klinik für Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie der Berliner Charité - unser Bild zeigt (vlnr) OA Dr. Dr. Devran Shetty, OA Dr. Lothar Braun und die leitende OP-Schwester Eva Prondzinski - sind sowohl die Wiederherstellung gestörter Funktionen als auch ästhetische Faktoren zu berücksichtigen. Durchschnittlich 750 Patienten, die stationäre Aufnahme finden, werden hier jährlich operiert. Gegenwärtig befinden sich etwa 2 400 Patienten in Dispensairebetreuung der interdisziplinären Arbeitsgruppen für Onkologie, Traumatologie und Anomalien im Kiefer-Gesichtsbereich.
