Deutsch: Das Passagiermotorschiff der Projekt 26-37-Klasse Waleri Tschkalow. Nach den Regeln des RS (Российский морской регистр судоходства, dt. Russisches Seeschiffahrtregister) ist Valeriy Chkalov die offizielle Schreibung dieses Schiffnamens in Lateinschrift weltweit. Der Namensgeber des Schiffes ist sowjetischer Test- und Rekordpilot Waleri Tschkalow
English: The passenger MS Valery Chkalov of Project 26-37 class. According to the rules of RS (Российский морской регистр судоходства, engl. Russian Maritime Register of Shipping), the international name of that ship on Latin alphabet is a slightly different transliteration Valeriy Chkalov in comparison with worldwide accepted English version of name of Soviet test and record pilot Valery Chkalov, in honor of him the ship was named.
