Summary[edit]

Description
English: Monument by Anselm Treese to the victims of Annen labor camp, a subcamp of Buchenwald at the corner of Westfeldstraße and Immermannstraße in the Annen neighborhood of Witten, Germany. The obelisk lies on the perimeter where the fence of the labor camp once stood. Since the 1950s, houses were built on the land and, of the camp, there is only a small portion of open space left, seen behind the obelisk. This remaining space will not be developed, rather is to be kept as a reminder of the victims.
