The player pictured here is also pictured in the 1907 and 1908 Seattle High School Sealth yearbooks but is not identified by name. Seattle High School was the first opened in the city and originally operated on the 3rd floor of the Central School. As Seattle grew and more high schools opened, the name of the school was briefly changed to Washington High School before becoming Broadway in 1908. Known as the Tigers for their orange and black team colors, the Seattle High traveled throughout the United States, gaining national recognition. The 1907 team sent seven players on to play professionally. Seattle H.S. Baseball Player |
