Description
Русский: Поезжанин - родственник со стороны жениха, едущий забирать невесту. Шапка имела круглый верх с пришитыми разноцветными ситцевыми полосками. Так подруги невесты отмечали сторону жениха. После окончания свадьбы лоскутки снимались. Конец XIX-XX века. Симбирская губерния.
English: A trainer is a relative from the groom's side, traveling to pick up the bride. The cap had a round top with multi-colored chintz flaps sewn on. This is how the bridesmaids marked the groom's side. After the wedding was over, the flaps were removed. End of the XIX-XX centuries. Simbirsk province.
