Orientée à l'Ouest. À partir de 1650, date de la nomination de Du Val comme Géographe du Roi. Titre et dédicace dans 2 cartouches ornementaux superposés. Cartouche avec la dédicace aux armes de Jean Doujat (griffon couronné).

1 carte. Sans texte au verso. Dans un recueil. Reliure veau brun jaspé (17e siècle), dos à 7 nerfs, fer dorés dans les entre nerfs. Plats décorés d'un double filet doré en encadrement et d'un médaillon central doré.
