Premier médaillon : Hugues III, duc de Bourgogne, au milieu d'une tempête, promet à la Sainte Vierge, qui lui apparaît de construire la Sainte Chapelle. Second médaillon : Des ouvriers élèvent les murs de la Sainte Chapelle, sous la direction d'un architecte. Troisième médaillon : Le duc de Bourgogne, Philippe le Bon, tient le chapitre de la Toison d'or dans la Sainte Chapelle, en 1430. Quatrième médaillon : Un prêtre montre au peuple l'Hostie miraculeuse que l'on a conservée dans la Sainte Chapelle jusqu'à la Révolution. |
