Summary[edit]

Description
Čeština: Žďár nad Sázavou - barokní sochy na mostě. Kamenný most přes Stržský potok. Kamenný klenutý most ze žulových kvádrů byl postaven za opata Bernarda Henneta a v letech 1759 - 1766 byl na každou stranu povoleno po čtyřech sochách. Osum pískovcových soch je v klidných až stuhlých postojích. Osy těl jsou jen u některých mírně vychýleny. Svým zpracováním se sochy hlásí do pozdního baroka padesátých a šedesátých let 18.století.Jsou zřejmě prací jednoho sochaře. Na podstvcích s volutami po stranách a reliéfní kartuší jsou latinské nápisy s chronogramy. Řada od města na prvé straně. 1.Sct.Methodius 2. Sct.Paulus. 3.Sct.Adalbertus 4. Sv.Bernardus. Od města na levé straně od města. 1Sct. Cyrillus. 2.Sct Joannes. 3.Sct Nicolaus. 4 Sct. Benedictus. Chronogray udávají vznik výzdoby mostu v letech 1759 - 1766. Most i jeho výzdoba vznikla za opata Bernarda Henneta (opatem v letech 1738 - 1770 a autor plastik není znám. Žďár nad Sázavou. Okr. Jihlava. Kraj Vysočina. Czech Republik.
