Ελληνικά: Το γλυπτό περιγράφει την τόλμη του Μπετόβεν να αφαιρέσει από τον Ναπολέων την Συμφωνία αρ. 3 που του είχε αφιερώσει. Ακόμη, στην σκιά του Μπετόβεν εμφανίζεται ένα σκυλί ενώ από την σκιά του Ναπολέων εμφανίζεται ένα όρνιο. Το σκυλί είναι χαρούμενο όπως και η μουσική μπορεί να είναι. Από την άλλη πλευρά, το όρνιο τρέφεται με πτώματα όπως και ο πόλεμος. Τα υλικά από τα οποία εμφανίζεται στην σκιά το σκυλί είναι φύλλα από ασήμι δηλαδή ένα φτηνό υλικό ενώ το όρνιο εμφανίζεται από φύλλα χρυσού όπως το χρήμα για το οποίο γίνονται οι πόλεμοι. |
