Description
Ελληνικά: Η Πορτάρα είναι η πύλη του ναού του Απόλλωνα που άρχισε να κτίζει ο τύραννος Λύγδαμις. Μετά από την πτώση της τυραννίας, ο ναός παρέμεινε ημιτελής. Αυτό που βλέπουμε, σήμερα, είναι μόνο τα θεμέλια του ναού. Η κατασκευή της πύλης έγινε από τέσσερα μεγάλα κομμάτια ντόπιου μαρμάρου, το οποίο το καθένα ζυγίζει περίπου 20 τόνους. Η Πορτάρα έχει ύψος σχεδόν 6 μέτρα και πλάτος τουλάχιστον 3,5 μέτρα.
