Warmed 'rakija' (hand made brandy)

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Traditional home-made plums heated brandy (called rakija). It is usually drunk on cold days.
  • Recipe: Put sugar in a pot (usually half a teaspoon for each cup) and let it melt and get a golden-brown color. It is stirred and poured with home-made brandy (if the brandy is strong, pour a little water first). Let it boil, pour into glasses and serve hot.
