Description
Українська: Монета номіналом 1 гривня 2006 років випуску. Матеріал - алюмінієва бронза. Вага 6,8 г.

Внаслідок інфляції вартість матеріалу перевищила номінал монети в півтора разу. НБУ змінив матеріал монети та зменшив розміри. Ватість матеріалу зменшилась вдесятеро. Карбування монети знов стало приносити сеньйораж.

Монета номіналом 1 гривня 2018 років випуску. Матеріал - нержавіюча сталь. Вага 3,3 г.
English: Coin of 1 hryvnia 2006 issue. Composition is aluminium bronze. Weight is 6.8 g.

Due to inflation, the value of the composition exceeded the face value of the coin by one and a half times.National Bank of Ukraine changed the composition of the coin and reduced the size.The cost of the composition has decreased tenfold. Coinage began to bring again seigniorage.
