Українська: Лата́ття бі́ле (Nymphaea alba), водяна лілія - багаторічна водяна трав'яниста кореневищна рослина родини лататтєвих (Nymphaeaceae). Рослина занесена до Червоної книги в багатьох країнах. Окремі екземпляри живуть до 22 років. Єдина рослина, яка мільйони років без будь-яких морфологічних змін існує у флорі України. Латаття біле використовується в народній медицині. В останні роки ці чудові квіти все більше винищуються любителями наживи, тому ця чудова водяна рослина потребує охорони. Латаття це символ наших річок. Квітка лілії - дуже чутливий барометр: вона розкривається о шостій годині ранку і закривається о вісімнадцятій. У хмарні дні та перед дощем квітки лілій закриваються, і по цьому можна спрогнозувати погоду. Відзнята в смт. Рокитне (Рокитнівський р-н, Рівненській об.) 2020-06-26 14:17:12. Ландшафт - берег річки. Світлина зроблена на телефон Redmi Note 5 та відредагована в графічному редакторі на ПК.
English: White water lily (Nymphaea alba), water lily - a perennial aquatic herbaceous rhizome plant of the water lily family (Nymphaeaceae). The plant is listed in the Red Book in many countries. Individual specimens live up to 22 years. The only plant that has existed in the flora of Ukraine for millions of years without any morphological changes. White water lily is used in folk medicine. In recent years, these beautiful flowers are increasingly being destroyed by lovers of profit, so this wonderful aquatic plant needs protection. Water lilies are a symbol of our rivers. The lily flower is a very sensitive barometer: it opens at six o'clock in the morning and closes at eighteen. On cloudy days and before the rain, lily flowers close, and you can predict the weather.
