Построен заводом "Красное Сормово" им А. А. Жданова в 1950 г. Работал только на Октябрьской ж. д. в депо Дно, Ленинград-пассажирский-Витебский, Ленинград-сортировочный-Витебский, Великие Луки, Новгород. Использовался с 1976 г. в качестве котельной на асфальтобетонном заводе в поселке Прибрежный Калининградской обл. Поступил в музей в 1992.
