Русский: Пры́ткая я́щерица, или обыкновенная ящерица (лат. Lacerta agilis) — вид ящериц из семейства настоящих ящериц.
У прыткой ящерицы светлый низ живота, а на спине есть полосы. Самцы обычно темнее и имеют более яркую окраску, а также у них голова, относительно туловища, больше, чем у самок; в период спаривания они становятся ярче. Есть несколько типов окраски коричневый, зелёный, серый. В длину ящерицы достигают 25 см, попадаются особи длиной 35 см. В брачный период самцы подымают голову и осматриваются по сторонам. В качестве защиты эти ящерицы в случае опасности отбрасывают свой хвост. После чего в течение нескольких недель (3—4) у них вырастает новый.
