view of notgeld issued in Kuzbass in 1990-1993 well knownd as "Tuleev Rouble"

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Propaganda coins Tuleev's Ruble belong to the category "Kemerovo Notgelds", which also includes a series of USSR coins with the countermark "500 rubles. Progress software. Kemerovo" and "250 rubles. Progress software. Kemerovo”, which had limited circulation in the territory of Progress PA in Kemerovo during the period of hyperinflation in 1992-1993.

Coins with the countermark “Miners for Tuleyev!” were used as a means of political agitation for one of the leaders of Kuzbass opposing the current Soviet government.

Appeared in circulation in 1990 in the city of Kemerovo (Kemerovo region, Kuzbass - USSR). The most common countermark is found on coins of 1 ruble denomination: “100 years since the birth of Lenin” 1970. and "50 years of Soviet power" 1967. However, there are also rare copies of the Olympic series, released at the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980. There are also very rare versions on coins with denominations of 3 kopecks, 5 kopecks, 20 kopecks and 50 kopecks, but they were much less common than one-ruble coins.
