The harmonica is a folk instrument in traditional music in Macedonia

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The accordion is a folk instrument popular all over the world, so it is also present in traditional music in Macedonia. The body of the accordion consists of two wooden boxes connected by a bellows. The size and weight of the accordion varies depending on its type, the number of registers and basses. The pressure of the key is not used as a means of expression, nor is it used to control the volume of the sound, but the pumping of the bellows is exclusively used for this purpose. There are three basic types of accordions: the piano accordion, the chromatic accordion and the diatonic accordion. The accordion musician (accordionist) expands and collects the "bellows" with his hands, whose air current passes through valves. These valves control the accordion player's fingers by pressing the keys.
